Katie Price’s son Harvey’s Instagram page has mysteriously disappeared, hours after she defended “showing him off in a good light”.

The former model came under fire earlier this year after making the 16-year-old an account on the social media website, posting pictures and videos of him on the public page.

But now the page appears to have disappeared from the website, despite photos remaining on Price’s Instagram page linking to her son’s account.

Representatives for Price told The Sun that it has “not been deleted” and that they aren’t sure why it has suddenly disappeared from view.

“We’re trying to figure it out ourselves. We don’t know if it’s been hacked or that Instagram have removed it,” they said.

Earlier on Monday, Price explained her decision to “show Harvey off”, although not specifically mentioning the Instagram, during a chat on Good Morning Britain.

The 40-year-old said: “I’ve always been his sole carer and when I show Harvey I always show him in a good light.

“I never show what he’s like with his bad behaviour or when he kicks off, smashing things around my house.”

Price added that she thinks people would be “like oh my god you’ve done so well to handle him” if she posted the negative behaviour as well.

“He’s not like a seal, I want to show him off in a good way. I’m proud of him and I’m proud how far he’s come,” Price finished.

Price was heavily criticised by fans when she set up an account for Harvey, with some claiming that it was “setting him up to be trolled”.

Most recently, she was accused of “giving trolls ammunition” when she showed off Harvey – who has Prader-Willi syndrome – in comedy glasses and a big bow tie.

Other posts on his page had included uploads of Harvey swimming, reading and drawing.

Standard Online has contacted representatives for Price for further comment.
