Katie Price has posted a touching video of her son Harvey singing to her, days after she defended her decision to put him in the public eye.

The mother-of-five shared a clip of her 15-year-old son singing about how much he loves her on her social media channels.

Preparing to serenade her, Harvey asks: “Are you ready?”

Price replies: “I’m always ready for you Price.”

Harvey – who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, autism and is partially blind – then launches into his own version of Barney the dinosaur’s I Love You.

Clearly proud of her son, Price wraps up the video by praising him and giving him a kiss.

The video comes days after she shot down criticism from some who believe she should keep her son out of the spotlight.

Speaking to RTE’s Ray D’Arcy she said: “Why shouldn’t I? Everyone else puts their kids out there. I’m proud. There are so many women out there, who don’t know how to cope with it, or they hide away, or they might be embarrassed or ashamed, or they don’t want to go out with them because people stare. I’m not ashamed of Harvey.

“I want to show how good he is. How he’s come from doctors saying he wouldn’t walk or talk.”

Price recently gave evidence to a Commons committee on the issue of online abuse after launching a campaign for tougher penalties following years of trolling targeted at Harvey.

She told D’Arcy the petition to establish ‘Harvey’s Law’ was the highlight of her entire career.

She said: “People can knock me all they like, but for 25 years the best thing for me is to have the power to have that many signatures to be able to go to the government to try and have a law put in place to stop abuse.”

Price is also mother to Junior, 12, Princess, 10, Jett, four, and three-year-old Bunny.
