Katie Price is recovering at home after she was involved in a horse riding accident.

The equestrian enthusiast, 39, suffered a “bad fall” while out riding on Thursday morning.

Price broke the news on Instagram, where she posted a picture while watching cartoons and cuddling up to daughter Bunny.

She captioned the image: “After having a bad fall off my horse earlier nothing better than cuddles with Bunny on the sofa fire on.”

The accident comes days after she was escorted off of Loose Women after breaking down in tears as she opened up about her mother’s terminal lung condition.

Discussing Keith Chegwin’s sudden death just six months after being diagnosed with the illness, Price said that the late entertainer recently contacted her family to try and help her mother come to terms with it.

“The thing is my mum is going to die, I just don’t want her to die,” she said.

“She’s getting worse, she’s having to sell her house now because she can’t get up.”

Overcome with emotion, she asked host Ruth Langsford if she could withdraw from the panel as she was struggling to fight back tears.

Holding her head in her hands she said: “I can’t do this, can I go. I knew I never should have done [the show].”

Price recently described 2017 as the “worst year” after dealing with her husband cheating, her mother’s diagnosis, and an alleged kidnap plot of her eldest son Harvey.
