Katie Price has shut down speculation that she is set to tie the knot with on-off boyfriend Kris Boyson.

The former glamour model appeared to hint that Boyson had proposed during the pair’s Thailand getaway after sharing a loved-up snap on Instagram.

The image showed the reality star gazing lovingly at the personal trainer with a large ring clearly on display as she poked Boyson playfully on the nose.

She captioned the post: “Take me back to Thailand”, with a diamond emoji to finish.

Fans were quick to congratulate Price over the suspected news with many adding that she “deserves happiness”.

However, she has since been forced to shut down speculation she is engaged to Boyson.

A representative for Price denied the reports to the Mirror Online and confirmed that the star is not engaged.

Standard Online has contacted representatives of Price for further comment.

Price kick-started the initiative in 2018 and even gained support from MPs earlier this year but the star revealed that the project has been brought to a standstill as a result of the negotiations surrounding the UK’s departure from Europe.

During an appearance on Loose Women, Amy was brought to tears as she admitted she wanted to make sure the campaign was “in place” before she dies, having been diagnosed with lung condition idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017 and given “two or three years” to live.

Speaking on the show last week, she explained: “[It's because of] blooming Brexit because they’re acting like kids as they are. It's delayed and delayed. Today we were meant to go to the Houses of Parliament because Harvey’s Law was going to be debated but it’s been put back to the 29th April.

“We are hoping then it’ll [happen] so anyone who’s had trolling or anything they should contact their MPs. Make sure you go to the debate so we can get it passed through.”
