Katie Hopkins has cut all of her hair off after undergoing brain surgery last month.

The TV star admitted that she’d decided to get rid of her locks as she wasn’t allowed to wash her hair after the procedure.

Sharing a picture of herself on Twitter, Hopkins told followers that her husband had been the one to do the chop.

On Thursday she wrote: “Day ten and not allowed to wash my hair yet. RSPCA are going to want to know who my owner is.”

Clearly not happy with her hair situation, Hopkins decided to take the plunge on Friday afternoon.

The picture shows the former Apprentice star sitting on her hospital bed holding out her hair on a newspaper.

She wrote: “Husband about to cut my hair off as dreads not proving to be my thing. I don't think hairdressing is his thing either.

“My head is quite tiny under all that hair. But my nose is reassuringly big. Fantine, eat your heart out.”

Hopkins added: “The hair on my legs is now longer than the hair on my head. Damn the dark art of relativity.”

The star revealed that she was gearing up for yet another operation as her scalp bone had become infected.

She wrote: “Thanks for laughs gang. Back off to theatre. My scalp bone is infected so it is coming out. GAG. I will have a weird soft head, like a baby.”

Back in February, Hopkins underwent brain surgery to treat the epilepsy which has “plagued” her life.
