Shaving her head has been the highlight of her fame for singer Jessie J.

The singer has experienced a whirlwind two years since releasing debut album Who You Are in 2011 and is still awestruck at all she has accomplished in a short period of time. But she is particularly proud of her charitable sacrifice in March.

Jessie - who shaved her head to raise money for Comic Relief - said: "Obviously, shaving my head was a massive highlight. I've been wanting to do it for a long time but I wanted to be famous enough that it would raise a lot of money."

The 25-year-old - who raised £500,000 for the charity with her stunt - is also pleased with her other accomplishments over the past 24 months, including performing at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony and appearing on BBC show The Voice as a mentor.

She told Glamour magazine: "The Olympics last August were unreal, it feels like yesterday and it was the most exhilarating feeling to be part of Britain's history. The Jubilee, obviously, was a huge moment, too.

"Being back on The Voice [has also been a highlight], and writing my second album has been a huge thing. It's been really challenging but I'm really proud of myself."
