Jay Z is thought to be penning a ‘response’ album to Beyoncé’s Lemonade.

According to reports, the rapper is keen to tell his side of the story following the release of his wife’s candid new record last month.

While the hip hop icon is yet to comment on the rumours, an ‘insider’ has reportedly told US Weekly:

“Jay is working on an album telling his side of things.”

The Queen of Pop’s visual album, which is currently sitting at the top of the album chart, doesn’t hold back when it comes to her personal life.

A number of the tracks on the album including Sorry and Hold Up allude to the fact her husband has cheated on her with another woman.

The superstar got her fans into a frenzy after calling out ‘Becky with the good hair’ in one lyric, leading many eager listeners to accuse stars on social media.

In another track, she says: “This is your final warning/ You know I give you life/ If you try this s*** again/You gon' lose your wife.”

Jay Z released his last album, Magna Carter Holy Grail, back in 2012.
