Jacqueline Jossa has hit out at cruel trolls who flood her Instagram posts with negative comments about her appearance and life.

Jossa addressed the trolls in a video on Sunday, shortly after uploading a picture to her page with the comments disabled.

“You might have noticed I’ve turned the comments off on my pictures,” the former EastEnders actress said. “That is because I do think it’s important to look after yourself.

“Sometimes all the comments and what people say to me gets to me a little bit too much. I’m not ashamed to admit that I don't like reading horrible stuff about myself.”

The 26-year-old compared the abuse to “random people” coming up to her in the street and insulting her, questioning why it happens online and explaining that it “does hurt” when people comment on her looks, body and her marriage.

"You don’t get constant different people coming up to you on the street saying 'you’ve put on weight, you were so much better looking when you didn’t have kids or when you first came on to Eastenders', or, 'you’ve gone downhill, no wonder your husband doesn’t wanna be with you'" Jossa said.

She continued: “It does hurt, everything that people say to me hurts and it’s not nice. We are not in a great world. I've got children and I don't want them to grow up in this scary place. I've just turned it off because I don't want to hear it.”

The actress appealed to social media users in an impassioned rant, blasting those who “chose to say something negative” about her children and admitted she was “finding it really hard not to react”.

She said: “I don't like it, I think it's rude, I think it's strange and odd that you have an opinion about someone you don't know, an opinion about their kids. It's disgusting, and weird, and gets on my nerves.

“I don't really care when people say stuff about me, I can just laugh it off and probably agree sometimes, but say something about my kids... It really p***** me off.”

Jossa and Osborne were recently rocked by split rumours after reports claimed he had “got close to” Love Island’s Alexandra Cane on a night out in Manchester.
