Liam Gallagher took a night off from slating his brother Noel, saying no one will ever come close to the relationship he has with his sibling.

The Gallagher brothers have been feuding for years, following Oasis’ split, with Liam frequently referring to Noel as a “potato” and accusing him of being in the midst of a “mid-life crisis”.

But the As You Were singer appeared to praise his brother after a Twitter fan asked: “Is noel better than you?”

Liam replied: “There is no such thing as better we are brothers and when we’re together no f***** and I mean no f***** comes close OASIS 4 LIFE.”

Fans declared it the “truest statement you’ll ever read,” claiming they had been left in tears, while others begged to know if a reunion is on the cards.

One Twitter user posted: “Getting back together then????”

Another wrote: “Absolute truth.”

A third tweeted: “I always pray for you and Noel.”

One emotional fan posted: “Crying in every possible language *siiighs*.”

Liam’s comment comes days after he appeared to take a swipe at his estranged brother for going to a Yota gig in Shoreditch.

The following morning Liam – who played Finsbury Park this weekend – tweeted: “I see the midlife crisis is in full effect as you were LG x.”

Noel last year addressed their feud, branding Liam a “village idiot” and accusing him of always being the main instigator behind their ongoing feud.

“I never fought with Liam at all,” he told the Irish Independent. “Liam was fighting with himself. Right now, he is picking a fight with himself somewhere. I don’t suffer fools in any f****** sense at all, but I suffered him more than maybe I should have done.

“I honestly don’t think he is well […] Who knows what’s inside the mind of a village idiot.”
