Harry Styles lands on fans after attempted stage dive goes wrong

Harry Styles landed on a number of his fans after attempting and failing to do a stage dive.

The One Direction star reportedly leapt into the crowd during a secret gig in New York on Wednesday night, expecting to be caught, but instead crashed to floor.

According to Teen Vogue, the 23-year-old misjudged the situation during his appearance at Rough Trade in Brooklyn and ended up face-planting.

“The crowd was either not ready for his stage dive or simply couldn’t hold him up, and he quickly hit the floor,” the magazine reports.

Despite landing on a few of his eager fans in the front row, it seems that “nobody was seriously injured”.

“He got up on the stage and deeply apologised with a smile about the failed attempt,” the report continued.

“Additionally, he said something along the lines that he has wanted to stage dive for a while now and that the moment felt right.”

Rather than being upset that the singer had fallen into them, members of the audience seemed overjoyed that they had come into such close proximity to their idol.

“HARRY F****** DID A STAGE DIVE AND KICKED ME IN THE HEAD WITH HIS GUCCI SHOE THANK F****** GOD,” one happy concert-goer wrote on Twitter.

Jackie Lundell, 26, told Teen Vogue that she had been “crushed” by Styles but “loved it.”

“Everybody seemed to get up, he was apologizing a lot,” she said.

“But you know what, you know everyone loved it. Everybody came to this thing like, 'If Harry styles crushed me today with a stage dive, I'd be all in. Let it happen.'"

Styles is over in the US to promote his debut solo album, which is released on Friday.
