The 62nd Grammy Awards kick off tonight, with singer Alicia Keys set to reprise her role as host.

The annual ceremony, honouring the best music of the year, will find artists such as Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande and Lizzo compete for the top prizes.

The awards kick off at 8pm Eastern Time, meaning they’ll start in the UK at 1am GMT.

The ceremony is not televised in the UK, and unfortunately, there’s no way to (legally) stream the awards online. However, there are ways to watch the red carpet and keep up highlights throughout the event.

The 2020 Grammys controversy

The 2020 Grammys have been marred by controversy, with ousted Recording Academy CEO Deborah Dugan filing a damning complaint against the company after she was placed on administrative leave last week.

Dugan, who was removed from the position amid allegations of workplace bullying, lodged a complaint accusing the Recording Academy of sexual harassment and voting manipulation.

According to Variety, Dugan, who replaced Neil Portnow in the job last August, says she was removed from the CEO position after raising concerns over misconduct at the Academy.
