George Ezra has revealed he wants to perform at next year’s “brilliant” Brit Awards.

The Paradise singer is set to release his second album, Staying at Tamara’s, following his 2014 debut, Wanted on Voyage.

The 24-year-old revealed he previously attempted to hide his nerves during his 2015 performance of hit single, Budapest.

He told Standard Online: “Someone said to me ‘oh I saw you the year you performed and I interviewed you- you were nervous’ I was like I didn’t realise I let on, I’m far more relaxed this year.”

Speaking ahead of the album release, he said: “I’m just happy it’s being announced, I’m happy people are pre-ordering it, which is lovely.

“I’m proud of it, I’m sure they’re going to enjoy it, I’m just excited.”

Ezra received four nominations at 2015’s Brit Awards, including British Breakthrough, British Single, Male Solo artist and British Album.

Both this year’s British Male Solo artist and British Album gongs were swiped by Gang Signs and Prayer rapper Stormzy.
