Gemma Collins and James Argent are reportedly close to reconciling after the Dancing on Ice star allegedly locked her boyfriend out of their Essex home.

The GC is thought to have been left fuming after Argent, 31, shared a video of her snoring on his Instagram account, prompting the TOWIE star to reportedly send Collins a stream of weight-related texts.

In the hurtful messages, he allegedly referred to Collins as a “fat horrible lump” and said that she had “more rolls than Greggs.”

Despite the recent drama, though, things are now reportedly “moving in the right direction” for the couple after Arg “apologised” to Collins.

“They’re talking again over the phone and things are moving in the right direction,” a source told The Sun.

“There’s no doubt they will reconcile – they love each other too much for this to be the end.

“Arg has apologised and knows he was in the wrong, he’s absolutely gutted he’s lost her – they’ve both accepted they are hurt by everything that’s happened, but ultimately they want to be together.”

Standard Online has contacted representatives for Collins and Argent for comment.

Collins has had a difficult week after her mother Joan was rushed to hospital with pneumonia following the alleged split from Argent.

The 38-year-old revealed that her mum was taken to hospital while she was away filming a cameo on The Real Housewives of Cheshire.

“My poor mummy in hospital with pneuomina coming home @joancollins1 to be right by your side,” she wrote on Instagram, adding: “I love you, #itsnotbeenagoodweek.”

A source told The Sun that she was left “distraught” by the news, and was determined “to be there for her mum.”
