Game of Thrones producers have confirmed that they send early episodes of the show over to the White House.

While fans have to wait until each episode is aired on TV, it seems that President Obama can watch all the action ahead of time.

Revealing that the President of the United States is just as obsessed with the show as everyone else, showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have spilled the beans.

When asked at which point they knew they had ‘made it’ at the season six launch event in Hollywood, Weiss said:

“I think, for both of us, finding out the President wanted advanced copies of the episodes was an ‘ah-ha’ moment. That was a very strange moment.”

Benioff added: “When the commander-in-chief says, ‘I want to see advanced episodes,’ what are you gonna do?”

While the pair have been careful not to release too many spoilers for fans, they have promised that the new season will be the ‘best yet’.

They have also confirmed that the famously violent series will feature the show’s ‘biggest battle yet.’

Game of Thrones Season 6 will air on April 24 in the US and the UK.
