Jason Momoa made it clear he was not a fan of the Game of Thrones finale as he launched into a sweary Instagram rant.

The actor, who starred in season one as Khal Drogo, couldn’t deal with the death of his on-screen wife Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke.

And he made sure that his Instagram fans knew his discontent as he filmed his reaction to the brutal scenes in a live video.

“F*** you! F*** you punk,” Momoa raged as Jon Snow plunged the knife into his lover and auntie. He then teared up as Drogon struggled to wake her limp body.

He then questioned Bran’s ascension to the melted Iron Throne, asking: “Who gives a f***?”

Momoa added: “I feel lost. I'm lost. What the f***? Drogon should've melted his [Jon Snow’s] ass. Ugh.”

Momoa wasn’t the only one left outraged by the finale, with many fans agreeing Dany “deserved better”.

In the final two Thrones episodes, the Mother of Dragons succumbed to her Mad Queen prophecy and burned King’s Landing to the ground before being murdered by Kit Harington’s character.

She said: “After 10 years of working on this show, it’s logical. Where else can she go? I tried to think what the ending will be.

“It’s not like she’s suddenly going to go, ‘Okay, I’m gonna put a kettle on and put cookies in the oven and we’ll just sit down and have a lovely time and pop a few kids out’. That was never going to happen. She’s a Targaryen.”
