Jamie Dornan was joined by the two leading ladies in his life as he hit the red carpet for the premiere of Fifty Shades Darker.

Dornan, 34, cosied up to his wife Amelia Warner and his onscreen love interest Dakota Johnson as he arrived in the capital to promote the second instalment in the big screen adaption of E.L. James’ erotic trilogy.

The actor – who plays BDSM loving businessman Christian Grey in the film – looked dapper in a grey suit as he walked hand-in-hand down the red carpet with Warner.

The pair posed for several pictures together as they put on a loved-up display in front of the cameras.

Joining them on the red carpet was their co-star Rita Ora who opted for a black gown with sequin embellishing.

Ora plays Johnson’s onscreen sister in the film which follows Grey and Steele as their relationship gets serious and Steele is forced to navigate shadowy figures from Grey's troubled past.

Johnson recently revealed that she felt ‘less petrified’ filming intimate scenes with Dornan in the new film.

“It never gets [easy], but because we’ve become so close it was a lot easier to make [the scenes] special,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

“It was definitely not as petrifying as the first time.”

Dornan agreed and added that he was “more comfortable” playing Grey for a second time.

“I was only cast five weeks before we started filming the first movie, and that's when I met Dakota [Johnson] for the first time,” he said. “[Now] it's been three years, [and] Dakota and I are very close.

A host of stars stepped out for Thursday night's event including Diana Vickers and Jorgi Porter.

Other famous attendees included Katie Price, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Ella Eyre and Linda Robson who got into the theme by donning a mask and brandishing furry handcuffs.

The event also attracted a group of protestors who accused the film of promoting domestic violence.

Fifty Shades Darker is set for UK cinema release on February 14.
