DVD/Video: Life Or Something Like It (20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, 12, £15.99/£9.99)

Angelina Jolie goes peroxide for this romantic comedy, in which she plays a Seattle TV presenter with a chance at the bigtime - until a street clairvoyant tells her she has one week to live.

Suddenly, her perspective changes: life, she realises, is about more than ambition, and conveniently on hand is exboyfriend and current cameraman Ed Burns to help her prove it.

Can Jolie change her destiny in the week she has left? Of course she can. This is an utterly predictable romcom with only one mystery: why, when Jolie's career is going so well, did she sign up for it?
