Emma Willis is the favourite to replace Michael Bublé as the new host of this year’s Brit Awards.

The TV star, who is currently presenting both The Voice and Celebrity Big Brother, has been tipped to step in and host the awards ceremony amid reports that the Canadian singer has stepped down.

According to Coral, Willis is currently the frontrunner with odds of 6-4, with stars including Mel and Sue also in the running.

While Bublé is yet to officially pull out of presenting duties, he is currently caring for three-year-old son Noah, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

“It was a difficult call but Michael has decided to pull out of hosting the Brit Awards,” a source told The Sun.

“Out of respect for Michael the producers gave him as much time as he needed to make the decision, which they completely understood.

Willis is now the bookies’ favourite to present the biggest UK awards of the year, following in the footsteps of Ant and Dec.

The Geordie duo are currently 3-1 to host the show again, despite the fact that they ruled themselves out of the running last year.

This year’s awards ceremony is due to take place on February 22, with rock icon David Bowie posthumously nominated in two categories.

Elsewhere, Zayn Malik and One Direction are going head-to-head in the British Artist Video of the Year for Pillowtalk and History respectively, while Little Mix face off against Radiohead, The 1975, Bastille, and Biffy Clyro for Best British Group.
