It seems that we’re not the only ones who have taken to experimenting with our look while on lockdown, as Dua Lipa has unveiled a drastic new look.

The chart-topper, 24, has swapped her dark brown tresses for short, bright orange hair – complete with quarantine-cut fringe.

Lipa revealed the new ‘do to her 44 million Instagram followers; captioning the post ‘Orangina Quarantina’, she cosied up to her model boyfriend of 10 months, Anwar Hadid, in her London home.

Fans of the singer seemed to approve of both the new look and the loved-up post, leaving a series of orange love heart emojis in the comment section of the short video.

The look has also been approved by 20-year-old Hadid’s older sister Gigi, 25, who commented: “Lovies,” alongside an orange love heart.

Lipa started dating Hadid in summer last year, following her split with on-off boyfriend of five years Isaac Carew.

The pair, who met through Gigi, became closer after a “string of dates”, it was reported in the Sun.

“They are a lot closer in age and it’s just been fun,” a source said. “[Lipa] is just going with the flow and doing what feels right.”

Lipa’s new look comes just weeks after she released her second studio album Future Nostalgia, which topped the UK Albums Chart.

She brought forward the album’s original release date to give her fans something to enjoy while the world is on lockdown in a bid to tackle to coronavirus pandemic.

“I made this album to get away from any pressures and anxieties and opinions from the outside world," she told the BBC.

"Yes, it was made to be listened out in the clubs and at festivals - but at the same time, I wanted to give people some happiness during this time, where they don't have to think about what's going on and just shut off and dance.”

But when it comes to lockdown itself, Lipa added she was enjoying some time off from her usually jam-packed schedule.

“I'm really enjoying it," she tells the BBC over the phone. "I'm doing stuff that I don't normally get the chance to do, just sleeping in and reading a book and catching up on TV shows."
