Danny Dyer could “enter politics” after his daughter revealed he has a secret passion for political issues.

Dani, who claimed the Love Island crown alongside boyfriend Jack Fincham, told how her father had been glued to the movements at Westminster.

Speaking to the Sun, she said: “He’s into all the politics. What’s the one with all the people on a panel? Question Time, he loves it. He watches it every time on his own. Good on him.”

She added that he had previously vowed to “sort this mess out” in relation to Brexit.

When quizzed on the possibility of the EastEnders hard man stepping through the doors at Westminster, Dani said: “I think he will when he’s a bit older. I don’t know anything about politics, if I’m honest. I don’t even know anything about David Cameron.”

Danny has previously hinted at his interest, wading in on big issues such as Donald Trump’s election.

The news comes after fans called for Danny to run for prime minister after his “inspirational” speech on Brexit.

Dyer, 40, got political with Piers Morgan as he joined the TV presenter on Good Evening Britain – a one off special of ITV flagship breakfast show Good Morning Britain.

Addressing Brexit he said: “No one has got a f****** clue what Brexit is, yeah. You watch Question Time, it’s comedy.

No one knows what it is, it’s like this mad riddle. No one knows what it is, right.”

Dyer turned his attention to former prime minister David Cameron, slating him for stepping down ahead of Brexit negotiations.

“How come he can scuttle off? He called this on,” he said.

“Where is the geezer? I think he should be held accountable for it.”
