Dani Dyer has revealed that the positive reaction to her new book made her "want to cry" after Jack Fincham confirmed that the Love Island couple have parted ways for good.

The reality star, who was voted the winner of the 2018 dating competition with then-boyfriend Fincham, is yet to comment on the split, after her ex revealed the sad news in an Instagram statement last night.

Instead, the 22-year-old, who is the daughter of actor Danny Dyer, has chosen to focus on her latest venture, sharing a series of gushing responses from readers on her newly released book What Would Dani Do?.

Dyer posted a selection of screenshots showing reactions from fans, who described the book as “amazing and really inspiring” and “relatable.”

“So so impressed with how your book has been written!” one supporter wrote. “It’s so true and can tell you’ve put your heart and soul into producing such an engaging read – couldn’t put it down.”

“Absolutely loved your book. I feel like I can relate to you so so much! I bet your [sic] beaming and so proud of yourself & you should be! Keep doing you Hun, because your [sic] absolutely amazing,” another message read.

In response to one comment, she wrote: "I wanna cry thank you for this message and for everything I love you."

Fincham announced that he and Dyer had split in an Instagram Stories post last night.

“There is no easy way to say this and it isn’t going to be an easy time but me and Dani are not in a relationship anymore,” he wrote.

“We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other and I mean that from the bottom and my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness.

“We have some amazing memories together and have been through a lot but sometimes things aren’t meant to be and we really did try to make it work but it unfortunately didn’t and that is life.”

He concluded by expressing his wishes that “everyone is considerate” as “a break up is hard enough as it is for both of us let alone in the public eye.”

His statement came shortly after Dyer stressed that the couple were “absolutely fine” despite having moved into separate homes, in an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.

“Me and Jack are absolutely fine… we love each other,” she told the presenter.

“When we first came out of Love Island, we moved into a flat together and we started filming [our own] show,” she said. “It was sort of way too much and our flat became a work home.”

She previously revealed that she and Fincham had decided to live apart after failing to come to an agreement on a location.

“Jack didn’t want to live in Essex and I didn’t want to live in south London so we thought we’d both get our own places and live between them,” she told The Sun.

“We’re building [the relationship] back slowly. We’d both moved out of our areas and to Wapping together, where we had none of our home comforts.”

The pair previously announced that they had split in December, but just reconciled days after.
