Cheryl has finally confirmed her musical comeback with a sneak peek at her new music video.

The former Girls Aloud singer teased fans with a snippet from Love Made Me Do It and confirmed it will be released this week.

Cheryl shared the black and white footage on Instagram alongside the caption: “#LoveMadeMeDoIt 09.11.2018.”

Love Made Me Do It will be Cheryl’s first single in four years, following on from her 2014 album Only Human.

Speaking about the track she said: “It’s something that anyone who’s been in love will be able to relate to in some way or another.

“It’s catchy and it’s fun. It’s not about one specific person or relationship, it’s more about me being the lover of love that I am. I just love love!”

She is rumoured to be marking her return to the stage with a performance on next weekend’s X Factor.

A source told The Sun: “Cheryl has the 18th November pencilled in. Obviously schedules can change but right now, everything is set for that date.

“Cheryl will be pulling out all of the stops to make sure that this is one of her most talked-about performances to date.”

Her rumoured appearance will come two weeks after her ex-Liam Payne took to the stage to perform his new single Polaroid with Jonas Blue and Lennon Stella.

Cheryl’s latest album has been co-written with her former Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts and is said to have been inspired by her relationship with Payne.

A release date and title have yet to be announced.
