Cheryl has broken her six week Twitter silence with an update for fans – but it’s not the one they were hoping for.

The former Girls Aloud singer, who is rumoured to be heavily pregnant with Liam Payne’s baby, had not tweeted since New Year’s Eve.

Today she posted a new update, though it did not refer to her ‘pregnancy’ which she is yet to personally confirm.

However it did bring important news on her charity work with the Princes Trust.

“I am so happy excited to tell you all that after a 5 year relationship with @PrincesTrust and a 2 year mission along with Cheryl’s Trust we have finally found a centre in the heart of Newcastle that will be opened this summer!” she wrote.

“Part of me is still pinching myself! I wanted to say a personal thank you to each and every one of you that got involved and donated money and items/your time over the years to help me get this off the ground.

“Thank you thank you thank you! And for your continued love and support, I am eternally grateful. Here’s to changing lives. I love you.”

The news follows rumours that Cheryl might reveal her supposed pregnancy in an advert campaign for L’Oreal.

In November last year, Cheryl stepped out with Payne for the St James Christmas Carol Concert, where she appeared to have a visible baby bump.
