Rumoured Celebrity Big Brother housemate Ben Jardine has revealed he is set to become a dad at the end of the year.

And, the day before his expected appearance, Jardine has revealed that he is expecting a baby with his new partner, eight months after his shotgun wedding romance broke down.

He told The Sun Online: “They say 'God loves to turn purposeless chaos into something beautiful' and He (or She!) really has in my life!

First show: Ben Jardine first appeared on screens in Married At First Sight
Channel 4

"I have been blessed. Out of all the chaos of this past year something beautiful has happened, which I will forever protect and be grateful for.

“I never thought it would happen to me. Everything happens for a reason. It's going to make a man out of me and I'll be a great dad.”

Speaking to Lizzie Cundy and Stephen Leng on Fubar Radio, Jardine revealed: “Stephanie and I are still friends but I couldn’t give her what she wanted and what she needed, and time is of the essence.

“And why waste someone’s time if it’s not there? It killed me. After the end of the show we were giving it a go, but as my mum said, you don’t know someone until you've lived with them.”

Jardine also hinted at the time about having already moved on from his new bride, revealing: “I've had a kiss and a cuddle”.

Celebrity Big Brother kicks off on Thursday 16 August at 9pm on Channel 5.
