Caroline Flack and Andrew Brady: Love Island host says she is 'completely in love' with fiancé

Caroline Flack has spoken out about her quick engagement to Andrew Brady, revealing that their connection was “instant”.

The Love Island presenter surprised fans after announcing her engagement to the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant after just three months of dating.

Proudly showing off her “vintage” ring at the Virgin TV BAFTAs on Sunday evening, Flack told ITV’s Lorraine show: “It was instant, when you know you know.

“I’ve never known before but now I do. I’m completely in love.”

Flack also told the Daily Mail’s You magazine: “‘I had no idea he was planning on asking me to marry him!

“But I knew things felt different in the lead-up; from the very first date with Andrew I felt as though I’d known him for years. I’ve never had that feeling before.”

The former The X Factor presenter also suggested that the furore around the photo of Brady smoking out of the window of her North London home.

She told the publication: “It wasn’t a cry for help; his head was probably stuck out because I don’t let him smoke indoors.

“Look, the media go a bit crazy sometimes over nothing; this is my life. I’ve got one shot at it and I’m happy. That’s all that matters.”

Flack suffered an unfortunate stumble at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday as she walked up to the stage to collect the BAFTA for Reality and Constructed programme on behalf of Love Island.

Appearing to get caught in her pink gown, Flack tripped as she made her way up some stairs to collect the award, which has very much divided viewers.
