Calvin Harris has dropped his new single, My Way – and fans think he is throwing shade at Taylor Swift.

The Scottish DJ, 32, released the track on social media with a picture of a mountain landscape and four flying ducks.

He appears to be talking about his ex-girlfriend on the track which features the lyrics: "Why wait to say, at least I did it my way? Lie awake two faced, but in my heart I understand.

"I made my move and it was all about you. I feel so far removed. You are the one thing in my way."

Fans were quick to dissect the lyric with one tweeting: "Calvin Harris just pulled a Taylor Swift ON Taylor Swift and I love it #MyWay."

Harris and Swift dated for 15 months before they split. A week after the break-up Swift was pictured with Tom Hiddleston and the pair started dating.

Their split turned bitter when Swift revealed she helped to write Harris’ summer hit, This Is What You Came For, under a pseudonym.

It was reported that his relationship with Swift declined after she was denied the songwriting credit, but Harris hit back at the claims and blasted her relationship with Hiddleston.

In a series of tweets he wrote: “Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though.”

“I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.”

The DJ also referenced her feud with Katy Perry, tweeting: “I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it

“Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one.”

This Is What You Came For, featuring Rihanna, debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart and peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100.
