Brooklyn Beckham has paid a sweet tribute to his father David with his latest piece of body art.

The budding photographer, 18, has had the former footballer’s year of birth tattooed on his right hand, adding to his growing collection.

Honouring his famous father, the new inking simply reads: “1975.”

Brooklyn unveiled his latest tattoo on Instagram where his 10.7 million followers were quick to gush over the tribute.

A third gushed: “I just wanted to say that I absolutely love what you do for people and love who you have become .you are such an inspirational person And you give this world purpose.”

But others failed to get the nod and thought the teen was paying tribute to Matt Healy’s band the 1975.

It comes days after he revealed the word “Buster” above his belly button.

The minimalist inking was a nod to the nickname he was given by David when he was born.

The ex-sportsman also has the moniker tattooed on his neck alongside a black love heart.

Brooklyn, who is dating Chloe Moretz, has been decorating his body since turning 18 with tattoos of a camera, a compass, an eagle and a Native American Chief which caused controversy when he unveiled it.

He was also mocked for the inking “Made in England” on his left foot as it was widely believed that Brooklyn was conceived across the pond in Brooklyn, New York.

Inbetweeners funnyman James Buckley poked fun, tweeting: “Brooklyn Beckham has a made in England tattoo. Brooklyn Beckham ... BROOKLYN .... BRRRRRROOOOOOOOKLYYYYN. BROOOOOOOKKKLLLLYYYYNNNNNNNNNN.”
