Britney Spears 'splits' from boyfriend Charlie Ebersol after eight months of dating
Britney Spears has reportedly split from Charlie Ebersol just eight months after they started dating.
According to US Weekly, a source has confirmed that the pair have gone their separate ways, telling them: "I just felt that he was in it for the wrong reasons."
While the popstar, 33, is yet to confirm the rumours, she seems to have deleted all trace of the film producer from her Instagram account over the last few days.
The pair, who met in October last year, were last seen publicly at the Billboard Music Awards just last month, looking loved up on the red carpet.

She recently said of the relationship: "I'm the happiest I've ever been. I'm in a real good place. I'm very blessed."
Speaking about how Eberso got on with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, she added: "They relate to him really well and they have fun together. He's refreshing to be around and really light-hearted."

While Spears is staying tight-lipped about the break-up, she's been busy promoting brand new single Pretty Girls, which is a collaboration with Iggy Azaelia.
In her latest tweet, the singer posted a photo of herself posing in a bikini with a male friend, under the caption: "So nice to be home! Nothing like Louisiana boys."
Evening Standard Online has contacted Spears' reps for comment.
