Beyonce is familiar with people praising her on stage – but it wasn’t her singing that made fans burst into cheers at her latest concert.

The 34-year-old was speaking to the crowd at New York’s Citi Field when she suddenly sneezed into her arm.

Despite sneezing being nothing out of the ordinary, the stadium erupted into huge cheers.

Fans screamed and applauded before collectively shouting “Bless you” at the US pop superstar who swiftly launched into an a cappella rendition of Love On Top.

Some described the moment as “endearing” while others joked that she sneezed ‘on beat’.

One user posted: "Beyoncé sneezed and the whole stadium said God bless you honestly my goals."

Another wrote: "Didn't even know Beyoncé could sneeze yo."

The sneeze comes weeks after fans claimed her ‘foot water’ has healing powers.

Some concert goers who have been hit by the spraying water during her energetic stage performances believe the water has magical qualities which some claim have ‘cured’ acne and ‘baptised’ others.

Beyonce was this week named Fashion Icon as she was honoured at the CFDA awards.

In her acceptance speech she praised her mother and uncle for designing stage costumes for her and her former Destiny’s Child band mates after they were refused clothing by some designers.

“When we were starting out in Destiny’s Child, high-end labels didn’t really want to dress four black, country, curvy girls. And we couldn’t afford designer dresses and couture,” she explained.

“My mother and my Uncle Johnny, God bless his soul, designed all of our first costumes and made each piece by hand, individually sewing hundreds of crystals and pearls, putting so much passion and love into ever small detail.”

The Lemonade singer compared herself to Game of Thrones’ Khaleesi because the handmade costumes felt like an “extra suit of armour”.
