She may be a megastar to the rest to us, but to Blue Ivy, Beyoncé is just like any other embarrassing mum.

The Crazy in Love singer, 39, took to Instagram to fire out cheesy jokes in order to promote mother Tina Lawson’s Wearable Art Gala.

Speaking to camera, Beyoncé asked: “Why does Snoop Dogg need an umbrella?” before responding: “For drizzle.”

However, eldest daughter Blue Ivy, who Beyoncé shares with rapper husband Jay-Z, wasn’t laughing.

Covering her mother’s mouth, the eight-year-old interrupted: “No, that voice… Mom, the voice, no.”

Lawson was also unimpressed with Beyoncé’s efforts.

“Hi Bey, I really appreciate you doing a joke because I know how busy you are,” she began her message.

“Will you just put on some make up and get in some good light and stuff? I mean, it’s the Gala, girl!”

Fastforwarding slightly, the video then shows Beyoncé in full make-up with softly tousled hair to attempt her joke with any interruptions from Blue.

The cheesy jokes were told to promote the WACO Theatre centre, which Lawson explaining it was “created to stand at the intersection of Black culture and art.”

And it’s bad news for Blue, as the rest of the family got involved in dropping toe-curling jokes too.

Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles, 34, asked: “How do you throw a space party?”

After a pause, she retorted: “Well, you just plan it.”

She said before: “Only for you, mum.”

Beyoncé also shares three-year-old twins Rumi and Sir with Jay-Z, with the pair having recently celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary.
