Azealia Banks has criticised people who took part in the Women’s March, saying that feminism is ‘dangerous’.

The controversial US rapper, who has been vocal in her support for new President Donald Trump, slammed this weekend’s protests as ‘one big anxiety attack’.

Posting her thoughts on her Instagram account on Sunday, the 25-year-old told her followers that they all needed to ‘chill’.

“Feminism is dangerous in general because it’s so deeply rooted in comparing women to men. The feminist conversation ALWAYS GOES BACK TO MEN,” she wrote.

“It’s truly annoying!! The conversation needs to be an intra-feminine one!!! How do women feel in relation to EACH OTHER aka womanism.

“Man and Woman are not equal and they never will be because we’re not supposed to !! Feminism needs to spend much more time talking to itself in the mirror than “sticking it to the man”.”

Banks continued: "Why do women fall for these white feminist tricks all the time?

"Now that some white dude has taken office who simply said something silly about grabbing a p****, they want to march in the streets under the guise of ‘standing up for human freedoms.

"Where the f*** were they when black folk were getting shot down every day last year?? Why weren’t they standing up for human freedoms then?"

She added: “I feel like the entire country is having one big anxiety attack and I just would like it to chill. Just chill.

“The election was enough stress. :((((((. People go in on me about complaining all the tune but I’m not the mad one at all LOL. REALLY THOUGH. Lets just keep calm and wait for new AB music lol. Cause I’m coming V SOON (sic).”

Last week, Banks publically announced that she wanted to perform at Trump’s inauguration concert

"Saw the entertainment line for the inauguration it made me very upset,” she posted on Facebook.

“This is an EPIC moment in modern history and it should def be celebrated in style. I would love to perform at the inauguration.”
