Two of this year’s Apprentice contestants reportedly struck up a ’steamy’ romance on this year’s show.

Wannabe entrepreneurs Jade English and James White are thought to have enjoyed a fling in the contestants’ London house during filming for the new series, which starts next week.

According to reports, the pair had an immediate “attraction” when they met just a few months ago, although the relationship has “cooled” since filming wrapped.

“Tension had been building between James and Jade during filming,” a show insider told The Sun.

New candidate: Jade English is a PR and marketing 'expert'

“There was clearly an attraction from the beginning. They’re both young and attractive people and they really got along during the process.

"They couldn’t resist getting to know each other that bit better during their time in the house.”

Wannabe star: Apprentice candidate James White works in recruitment

White, who owns a recruitment company and PR executive English spent a number of weeks in the house earlier this year alongside the 16 other new candidates.

“Afterwards they kept things going for a while, but relations have cooled off between them since filming ended,” the source added.

Jessica Cunningham and Courtney Wood started a relationship after meeting during last year’s show, as did Grainne McCoy and Paul Sullivan.

Other high profiles romances on the show included a brief fling between James Hill and Lauren Riley in 2014, while 2013 winner Dr Leah Totton recently started a relationship with 2014 winner Mark Wright.

The new series of the BBC show kicks off next Wednesday at 9pm.
