Fergie Duhamel, previously known as Stacy Ann Ferguson, gave birth to 7lb 10oz Axl Jack Duhamel yesterday.
Fergie, 38, married actor Josh Duhamel, 40, in 2009 and Axl Jack is their first child. She officially changed her name earlier this month.
Fergie is one quarter of the Black Eyed Peas. She released her solo debut, The Dutchess, in 2006. The album launched five big hits, including Fergalicious and Big Girls Don't Cry.
Duhamel has appeared on television shows including ABC's All My Children and in films such as Transformers.
