The Only Way is Essex star would love to return to the Big Brother house because she had "so much fun" on the Channel 5 programme last year.

Writing in her new! magazine column, she said: "It's always strange when I go back as I can't believe I spent three weeks locked up in there. I do kind of miss it - it was so much fun!"

Amy - who came fourth in Celebrity Big Brother in 2011 - is an avid viewer of this year's show and she is particularly keen on the new décor in the house.

She added: "I'm loving this year's Big Brother already! I think there's a real mix of housemates from all different backgrounds and I'm sure there will be fireworks.

"I also love the way they've decorated the house - it's been vajazzled!"

However, the foul-mouthed antics of fellow Essex girl Ashleigh have failed to impress the Bafta winner.

She explained: "I can't believe how much she swears. I hope people don't think all Essex girls are like that or she'll give us a bad name."

But Amy admitted silver-tongued doorman Chris James is her favourite of this year's housemates so far.

She said: "I love that he's a big bouncer with a really funny, squeaky voice".
