Amanda Holden was “thrilled” to show off her recently renovated home bar in a new Instagram post.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge shared a photo of herself relaxing with a large gin and tonic in the enviable space as she celebrated the end of her detox.

Holding her glass in one hand, the star smiled at the camera as she posed with her feet up on the wooden bar, wearing a pair of white pyjamas and cosy slippers.

“It’s G&T in my PJs!” she wrote in her caption. “Thrilled with my bar renovation! #interiordesign #bubble #lights and #barstools @sweetpeaandwillow my new obsession.”

The tasteful room features dark floral print wallpaper from House of Hackney, along with rounded mirrors, bubble-shaped lights and black velvet stools – with an extensive array of spirits and liquors on display behind the bar itself.

The 48-year-old’s celebrity friends were quick to compliment her on the latest stage in her home renovations, with model and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon writing: “Wow! It’s incredible. Cheers gorgeous!”

TV presenter Kate Thornton appeared to be angling for an invitation, commenting: “When can we christen it?”

On her Instagram Stories, Holden shared a candid version of the snap, in which she threw her head back with laughter.

“The real unposed pic,” she wrote, adding the hashtags “#funny” and “#hubby.”

Earlier this month, the talent show panellist enjoyed a detox at a health retreat ahead of the Britain’s Got Talent live shows and shared photos of herself relaxing with a green juice on Instagram.

Holden, who will take over from Emma Bunton alongside Jamie Theakston on Heart Breakfast next month, will judge a week of BGT live performances in a few weeks’ time. She is the only judge who is yet to use her golden buzzer option to fast track an act to the semi-finals.

Britain’s Got Talent is on ITV, Saturday at 8pm
