Adele’s boyfriend showered her with love notes in celebration of their fifth anniversary.

White confetti featuring lyrics from Adele’s songs has been thrown onto concert-goers during her world tour.

But Simon Konecki arranged for pink confetti emblazoned with romantic messages for the singer to fall on the crowd at her recent gig in Nashville, Tennessee.

One note read: “You are an angel.”

Another simply said: “Happy anniversary.”

The Make You Feel My Love singer has three-year-old son Angelo with Konecki, and recently told concert-goers that she is ready to try for baby number two.

She said she has an “ache” in her womb because Angelo is growing up too fast.

“My son is about to turn four very, very soon,” she told the crowd.

“I’m starting to get very emotional about it because I feel like once they turn four, they’re not really your actual baby anymore.

“So my womb is starting to ache a little bit. It’s like, ‘Baby, baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby’. I’m not pregnant. I won’t get pregnant until the end of the tour.”

Her comments come weeks after Adele - who is an only child - told fans in Minnesota that she wasn't planning on expanding her family.

“I don’t think I can have another child," she said. "I mean, I can. But I don’t think I want two.”

Adele has been on the road for months, promoting her record-breaking third album 25.

She is planning on returning home at the end of November.
