Britney Spears' ex boyfriend is attempting to cash in on their brief romance by auctioning intimate photos of them together to the highest bidder.

Birmingham-raised Adnan Ghalib, 35, was jilted by Britney last week after she became fearful that he was trying to profit from their relationship.

Now Mail Online can disclose that her worst nightmare is set to become a reality - with the paparazzo's Los Angeles-based agency Finalpixx hawking footage of their time together around the world.

Betrayed: Adnan Ghalib, pictured with Britney last week, is set to make hundreds of thousands of pounds by selling their story

Although Britney and Adnan only dated for two weeks, the material - which consists of private videos and photographs - is said to reveal intimate moments that will further embarrass beleagured Britney, 26.

It is estimated that Ghalib's firm will seek "hundreds of thousands" of pounds for the highly private footage.

The news comes after Britney attempted to straighten up her act by turning up at her ex-husband's lawyer's office for an ongoing deposition in their custody battle over their two children.

The troubled singer arrived on time at attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan's Los Angeles office on Monday morning and spent over two hours in talks about her two children with Kevin Federline.

Spears' attendance at the office follows a series of no-shows at previous appointments and court hearings.

Positive: Britney Spears leaves her ex-husband's lawyer's office in LA yesterday. She may have arrived on time, but she forgot one important thing - her bra

Dressed down in jeans, dark blue top and her favourite knee-high boots, but apparently without a bra, Spears looked hopeful after the meeting.

She was joined by her sometime manager Sam Lutfi, and her lawyers Sorrell Trope and Tara Scott told TMZ.com the singer was in "good spirits" during the proceedings.

During the deposition, which is expected to go on for several days, Spears will be questioned over her past drug and alcohol use and her failure to follow previous court orders.

The 26-year-old pop star was stripped of her visitation rights to see Sean Preston, two; and Jayden James, on January 14 after she failed to show at court.

Snap happy: Britney wasted no time moving on after dumping her photographer boyfriend Adnan - she invited paparazzo Felipe Teixeira into her car over the weekend and reportedly asked him out on a date

Federline was awarded sole legal and physical custody of the two boys "indefinitely" following Spears' meltdown on January 3rd.

After a four-hour stand-off with police, during which Spears refused to hand over her sons to Federline's bodyguard, the singer was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center tied down on a stretcher.

Up close and personal: That same day, Britney's sometime manager Sam Lutfi also enjoyed a bonding moment with the star

His lawyer has previously said: "His hope is that he will be able to parent the children at some point in the future with participation from the mother."

The couple's custody trial is expected to start in April.

Federline and Spears split in November 2006 after two years of marriage - just nine weeks after the birth of their second child.

Spears appears to have split from her British paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib after a brief relationship.

Reports yesterday suggested Spears dumped the Birmingham photographer - who is still married to his wife AzLynn Berry - and has taken out a restraining order against him.

It appears she has wasted no time moving on - she invited paparazzo Felipe Teixeira into her home over the weekend where she reportedly asked him out on a date.

Meanwhile, music mogul Simon Cowell has done a complete u-turn over his feelings about Spears.

Earlier this month, he spoke of his concerns for the singer and urged her to "call me anytime" if she needed help.

He said: "It looks like she's out of control. She's got to have someone in her life to listen to."

However, after watching Spears' antics over the last week, Cowell now believes the star is much more in control of her life.

He tells PageSix.com, "Everyone thinks it's breakdown this and breakdown that.

"From the kind of stunts she's pulling now, I think she is the puppet master and completely in control.

"I really felt for her at one point, I thought she was heading for a meltdown and everything was out of control, but — especially over the past week — I thought she was honestly in control and, more to the point, wants to be in control."
