Beyonce Knowles is set to help new 'X Factor' judge Kelly Rowland choose her final three contestants.

The 'Girls (Who Run the World)' hitmaker will reportedly join her former Destiny's Child bandmate at the judges' houses stage of the ITV1 competition as Kelly has to decide who she takes through to the live shows.

An insider told The Sun: "It will be incredible for contestants to sing for Beyonce."

Beyonce is no stranger to 'the X Factor' - in 2008, she performed a duet with eventual winner Alexandra Burke in the grand final.

Alexandra - who was mentored by former judge Cheryl Cole - has since said it was a privilege working with Beyonce and she is still in touch with the superstar.

She said: "We talk through email. She's a lovely woman, the most whole woman I've ever met and with her success you wouldn't expect her to be, but she is. She's the ultimate diva.

"We just talk about how everything is going. She asks me what I am up to, and how my career's going. It's just normal, weirdly normal."
