Berry purrs at Catwoman premiere

Her private life may be a mess, the film may be lumbered with one of the most ridiculous plots of recent years, and don't even talk about that rubber bondage-style costume she had to wear - but Catwoman star Halle Berry still knows how to turn on the glamour.

Here she is at the movie's world premiere in Los Angeles, looking like a woman without a problem in the world.

Her big smiles were in sharp contrast to recent interviews in which the star has insisted she will never remarry after separating from husband Eric Benet, who has been treated for sex addiction.

In the latest issue of the magazine GQ, Berry, 37, admits that she is a poor judge of men, saying: "After two failed marriages, I think I've finally got it."

Talking about her role in Catwoman, she adds: "It was very empowering, putting on that suit every day. and having no rules and being in touch with my sexuality, my strength, to say what I wanted to say, do want I wanted to do."

Not a word, then, about the annoying way her cleavage kept spilling out of the costume during filming.

Also at the premiere were her costars Benjamin Bratt and Sharon Stone - who plays movie villainess Laurel Hedare.

The movie opens in the US on Friday and in Britain on 13 August.
