This Autumn The History Channel reveals what goes on behind the wheel of the most awesome war machines used in combat. The Battle Stations series looks into the operations of the most superior fighting planes and the wars they have survived.

The series will be screened every Sunday at 9pm, with six premiere episodes featuring throughout October and November.

Catch interviews with military machine pilots and drivers, and see unique archive film that takes you inside the world's most famous fighting machines.

Viewers will be able to witness the aerial combat of the F-15 during Operation Iraqi Freedom, the B-17's bombings over Berlin in World War II, or go beneath the decks of the Destroyer in the Battle for the Pacific.
