The much-troubled romantic saga between Kate Moss and Pete Doherty has taken two very different turns today — with some reports claiming the pair have split and others that they’re on the verge of marriage.

Heroin-addicted Babyshambles singer Pete claims in today's Daily Mirror that his supermodel girlfriend has agreed to marry him this summer and that the two of them have been enjoying wild sex romps in the central London clinic where he is currently staying.

"We want this wedding as soon as possible. We love each other," Doherty is reported to have said.

However, today's The Sun claims the Croydon-born supermodel has split with drug-addicted Doherty, with the former Libertines frontman speaking of his heartbreak at being dumped.

The newspaper claims Kate dumped Doherty after he gave interviews and pictures of them kissing to The Sun.

Pete says, "I can't believe Kate has done this to me now.

"The only reason I'm trying to get clean is because I love her so much."
