Watching the watchers as the eclipse swept across Africa and the US

A rare hybrid eclipse took place yesterday, starting in the southern United States before sweeping east across the Atlantic and Africa. The greatest total eclipse took place in the Atlantic, about 330km south-west of Liberia, and lasted for more than a minute.
