French police have arrested at least 15 people after reality TV star Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris apartment.

The 36-year-old was asleep in her luxury flat in October when a gang of raiders broke in and held a gun to her, police said.

She was then locked in a bathroom with her hands tied together.

Police said around £9million worth of jewellery was swiped during the robbery.

On Monday, local media reported at least 15 people had been arrested in connection with the raid.

The breakthrough in the investigation comes as Ms Kardashian broke her silence on the robbery for the first time for an upcoming series of her reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

She is seen telling her sisters Khloe and Kourtney her thoughts at the time of the ordeal.

She said: “They're going to shoot me in the back. There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it."

Speaking at the time of the multimillion pound raid, sources said the gang involved were “highly organised” and that a great deal of planning had been carried out.

Ms Kardashian was visiting the city for Paris fashion week and her movements were well documented on social media.

Her husband Kanye West was told about the robbery halfway through a performance at the Meadow Music and Art Festival, New York, and immediately cancelled his set.
