Kate dazzled in three different outfits in just a matter of hours in Paris as she helped her husband kick off a two-day tour of the city.

The Duchess of Cambridge started the day in a green Catherine Walker coat, before changing to a black Alexander McQueen gown and she finally opted for an ice-blue Jenny Packham dress.

Kate ensured all eyes were on her as she stole the show in a sweeping black gown at the gala held at the stunning official residence of the British Ambassador, Edward Llewellyn - Lord Llewellyn of Steep.

But if William thought he could entirely put the embarrassment of his dancing ski weekend behind him he was sadly mistaken.

Not only did the BBC's flagship News At Six run mobile phone footage of the prince dancing in a nightclub along with a negative report about his behaviour, but a children's harmony group, Kids United, chose to sing one of the songs he danced to - Pharrell's Happy - to him and Kate at a gala dinner.
