A third man has been remanded in custody accused of attempted murder following the shooting of five-year-old Thusha Kamaleswaran.
Nathaniel Grant, 20, was arrested after the girl and 35-year-old bystander Roshan Selvakumar were caught in a volley of gunfire in a shop in Stockwell, south London.
Grant, of nearby Camberwell New Road, Camberwell, spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth during the five-minute hearing on Saturday.
He stands accused of two counts of attempted murder following the shooting at the Stockwell Food and Wine store.
Wearing jeans and a white jumper, he listened intently as District Judge Susan Green remanded him in custody at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court. He will next appear at the Old Bailey on June 10.
Grant is the sixth person to be arrested in connection with the attack.
Kazeem Kolawoli, 18, of Black Prince Road, Lambeth, and Anthony McCalla, 19, of Oakdale Road, Streatham, have each been remanded on the same charges and are due to be brought before the Central Criminal Court on the same date in June.
A 14-year-old boy and two 17-year-old men held on suspicion of attempted murder have since been released on police bail.
Thusha, who was hit in the chest, remains in a serious but stable condition. She and Mr Selvakumar, who suffered a head wound in the attack, came under fire as two youths cowered in the shop, having been chased through the area by three youngsters on bicycles.
Mr Selvakumar has now been discharged from hospital and is continuing to receive treatment.
