Sky Broadband down: Hundreds of UK customers report being left without internet after network issues

Sky Broadband went down across parts of the UK leaving a number of customers without internet connection this morning.

The provider said it had "the right people working hard to fix this", as more than 1,000 people reported issues with Sky to Downdetector.

An update from Sky said: "We are aware of an issue affecting some of our customers broadband across parts of the UK, we’re sorry for this."

A statement issued at around 12.30pm said the situation had been resolved.

A spokesman said: "Our broadband service is back up and running, and we’re sorry for the disruption caused to some of our customers this morning."
