Whether you prefer it with a cream and jam scone, some biscuits, or on its own, we all love a good cuppa.

And, with its centuries-long history and place in our culture, one of the most quintessentially British things is our nationwide affection for tea.

Every year on April 21, communities come together to celebrate National Tea Day, which coincides with the late Queen’s birthday.

This year’s occasion has been set as a tribute to tea pairing and, what better way to honour that theme than to head to some of London’s best tea rooms?

Here is a delightful look at London’s best tea rooms.
