While many will be aware that as of tomorrow Queen Elizabeth II will become the longest-serving monarch in British history, a lesser-known fact is that she is also the most well-travelled monarch in history.
An interactive map has been produced documenting her impressive travels throughout her reign, with her state and commonwealth visits over seven decades spanning six continents.
The Queen has visited a total of 128 different countries - well over half of the world's nations, and has made a staggering 270 official visits in total.
Her Royal Highness has paid the most visits to Canada, with 27 trips spanning the length and breadth of the country.
She has also visited Australia 18 times, seeing cities and towns the country over.
She has also paid nine visits to New Zealand, and has visited Barbados, Fiji and Jamaica six times each.
However, there are still many countries she has never been to on an official visit, including Madagascar, Cuba, Peru, Greece and Egypt.
