Cadbury's white Creme Egg is hunt is well underway and some lucky punters could be in line to win £10,000.

The confectionery giant launched the hunt back in January, challenging customers to find more than 800 prize-winning chocolate eggs at shops across the country.

Just nine white Creme Eggs carry the £10,000 top prize, prompting Bark.com to launch a professional egg hunter service for those who want to boost their chances of finding one of the rare eggs.

But don't worry because a range of white Creme Eggs are on offer, and with prizes ranging from £50 to £10,000 from now until April 21, chances are if you look hard enough you might just be able to get your hands on one of the elusive treats.

And helpfully, Cadbury has also revealed where you could just find one.

White creme egg hints from Benefit and Booking.com

The chocolate giants have reportedly teamed up with Booking.com to offer egg hunters an overnight stay at a property in central London somewhere.

The stay costs £9.99 and will be on February 1 - but obviously, there is a catch. Not only has the listing itself been hidden, but the white egg is believed to have been hidden somewhere inside as well.

So all you have to do is find the listing, bag the overnight stay before anyone does and then find the egg - easy, eh? The property itself has been filled with creme-egg themed furniture to really drive the point home.

The booking comes on a first come, first serve basis - but don't worry if you miss out, because there are still lots more to be found until April 21 - including somewhere on the website for Benefit Cosmetics.

Makeup brand Benefit has unveiled a huge banner on its homepage, announcing that a "creme egg is hidden on this site" - but we can guarantee it won't be easy to find.

What are the rules for the hunt?

The rules are simple - you have to find one of the 872 white Creme Eggs which have been hidden in normal Creme Egg wrappers.

And just like last year, Cadbury is making the competition challenging. Only a few are being made available each week and spread between different supermarkets across the country.

There is also another challenge running at the same time for customers to find pictures of white Creme Eggs hidden in online adverts for other brands, with the top prize worth £10,000.

How much are the prizes worth?

A range of cash prizes are on offer, including £50, £100, £1,000 and £10,000, but only a few Creme Eggs are worth the top prize.

The competition is slightly easier than last year, when only 371 white eggs were made available, and every white egg you find will be worth cash.

How to find the other white creme eggs

At total of 872 eggs will be distributed at Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Co-op, Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer, One Stop and other independent shops across the country.

Supermarkets will have one egg worth £10,000, four worth £1,000, 11 worth £100 and 95 worth £50. Seven will be released in the UK each week.

One Stop shops will each get one £10,000 egg and five £100 eggs. Six will be released each week.

Independent retailers, such as participating corner shops, will receive one £10,000 egg, one £1,000 egg, five eggs worth £100 and 104 eggs worth £50. Seven will be released each week.

Online adverts will get one £10,000 egg along with 30,000 vouchers for milk chocolate Creme Eggs and 1,000 white chocolate Creme Egg prizes.

How do you claim a prize from Cadbury?

To claim your prize, make sure you keep the wrapper so Cadbury can validate your claim.

Then phone the number printed on the voucher under the foil, which also contains a unique code and prize.

Verification questions will then be asked of you before you are entered into a prize draw.

All claims have to be made before 5pm on May 21.
