Astronomers have discovered a new class of planets they say could support life outside our Solar System.

Scientists say they’ve identified habitable exoplanets, called Hycean planets, which are hot, ocean-covered places with hydrogen-rich atmospheres.

We spoke to Dr. Nikku Madhusudhan, lead author of the report at the University of Cambridge’s Institute of Astronomy.

The World Health Organisation is warning the window’s closing for critical research into the origins of coronavirus, amid growing questions about China stalling the investigation’s progress.

Experts say further delays make inquiries into the biological make-up of the disease incredibly tricky.

Facebook is reportedly consulting with academics and policy experts about setting up a commission to advise executives on issues relating to election hacking and misinformation that have dogged the social network.

The proposed body could decide on matters such as political ads and concerns around election-related misinformation, according to the report.
